For Real Therapy

Brand, logo, and website design for For Real Therapy, a BIPOC-owned Chicago, IL therapy office, event space, and shop with locations in the Lincoln Park and Wicker Park neighborhoods. Collaborating with Haitian Founder and Psychologist, Dr. Fabrice Lubin, I designed everything from the logo, to signs, social media posts, shirts, and more. Inspired by high-end art magazines and hip hop album covers, Fabrice and I vibed extra hard. Over time, we worked with vibrant photographer, Alex Hazel Studios, the diverse video team at Pogi Studios, Good Aura (for SEO), and Ryan Tova Katz (Fabrice’s partner who did all of the space’s murals and interior decor) to create a complete brand that engages all of the senses. This has been one of my ALL-time favorite projects, as well as a major collaboration of TLC to help make the world a better place.

  • “Dorey is responsive, curious, and absurdly talented. Most importantly, she is patient! She doesn't rush the consultation process. She believes in making sure she has a grasp on the concept. She will hold you accountable to the big questions and provides more examples than you could ask for. Once you've picked a direction, she sets intentional dates to check-in and in my experience, completes the project before the due date to allow time for feedback and fine tuning. I've recommended her to colleagues, friends, and anyone under the sun looking to make something to put out into the world. All of them have come away impressed. If you found her, hire her. She’s designed 3 of our websites, 2 of our logos, AND our branding.”
